Mia Sanderson, AMFT, APCC
I believe healing happens through connection, understanding, and a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring challenges, building insight, and creating meaningful change. I strive to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's struggles, helping them build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move toward healing and growth.
My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have a particular interest in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship concerns, family conflict, and major life transitions. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method interventions, attachment-based approaches, and family systems theory to meet each client's unique needs and goals. I also welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process when it aligns with a client's values and beliefs.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with family, tending to my garden, and exploring new coffee shops. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
