Monique Mercado, AMFT, APCC

I’m passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported through life’s challenges. My therapeutic approach is personalized to each individual, drawing from my background in education, clinical training, and hands-on experience. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through emotional regulation, identity development, life transitions, and relationship issues.

I am trained in Level 1 TheraPlay and currently serve in Trauma Treatment Services for San Bernardino County, working with children in Head Start programs. I use a range of evidence-based practices specific to each client’s goals, always grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for the healing process. My goal is to empower clients to recognize their resilience and move forward with confidence and hope.
